Dear Saint Andrew Catholic Community Rev. Dan Pattee learned today, that he has tested positive for COVID19. Fr. Pattee was last in the parish on February 10. He was not experiencing any symptoms at that time. The church is sanitized following every Mass, and all diocesan Mass protocols have been followed. Rev. James Gigliotti and Rev. John Shanahan are quarantining out of an abundance of caution. Please continue to follow all required Mass protocols, continue to wear face masks properly, maintain an appropriately safe social distance, wash hands thoroughly and frequently, and receiving Holy Communion only in the hand. Please also follow the required protocols for other gatherings outside of Mass. If you live in Tarrant County, free testing for COVID-19 can be obtained by registering for an appointment online at https://covidtesting.tarrantcounty.com. If you live outside Tarrant County or would prefer to go to a private provider, additional testing options can obtained at https://www.dshs.state.tx.us/coronavirus/testing.aspx. Please keep in mind the symptoms of COVID-19, which include fever, headache, chills, fatigue, shortness of breath, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, cough, and nausea/diarrhea. If you are exhibiting any symptoms of any illness, please stay home. If you have been tested for COVID-19, please stay home until you have received negative test results. Please pray for the recovery of Father Pattee and all those affected by this global pandemic.
