Sometimes this is what people imagine when we say we will EVANGELIZE
This is not the way we CATHOLICS EVANGELIZE!!
The role of the baptized is to spread the Word of God. Catholics live their lives with the understanding that Jesus became man to redeem us from our sins.
We live our faith, practice our faith, perform the corporal and spiritual works of mercy, pray for each other, support our church, and live as Jesus asked us to live - humbly and with gratitude for our blessings.
The Office of Faith Formation works to equip parishioners with an understanding of their faith, so they can feel comfortable, when asked, to explain an aspect of their faith. We call this action
apologetics. Being able to answer a question about our faith.
Each baptized Catholic has the responsibility to live their faith, being an example of Christ's love in the world.
We have a robust program of Adult Continuing Education affording several opportunities a month at Saint Andrew Parish. Take me to
THEOLOGY NIGHTS so I can learn more about my faith!
NOVEMBER 26 EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION
after the 12:30 Mass
Join us after Mass for this Procession around the Saint Andrew Parish campus.
Maybe you go to another mass (due to space limitations) and join us for the procession.
The procession will leave the Church from the west doors at the small parking lot off Stadium. If you are joining us that is the place to assemble.
Participation requires our respect and adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament and we are mindful of the holiness of this event and our attitude and demeanor MUST be one of humble humility and reverence.
You should participate in the joy of the moment, sing the beautiful hymns selected, and remember you are demonstrating your love for Christ as we show our faith and love for the Most Blessed Sacrament.
Guardian Ministry
Our Guardians welcome the faithful to mass, collect the offertory, provide first aid, and strive to ensure that our events are safe and secure.
