Baptized Catholics over the age of seven should contact the Office of Faith Formation for information about receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Children and their parents participate in the Advent Reconciliation Service at our Parish. Registration for sacramental preparation classes begins in August.
Parents/guardians attend all four sacramental preparation classes on the
Sunday afternoons November 5, 12, 19 and December 3
from 2 - 4 pm. in the Parish Hall.
The Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation will be celebrated on
Thursday, December 6 at 6:30 pm in the Church.
Parents are also asked to remain for an extra 30 minutes on ONE of those four Sundays, with your child, for the rubrics of the Sacrament (parents select one Sunday to remain after the session).

Preparation is conducted in a classroom setting for children in the second grade who have reached seven (7) years of age, at the beginning of the calendar year.
Similar to the preparation used for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, both the child and their adult parent/guardian are provided with instruction to prepare for the first reception of this Sacrament giving us sacramental grace in the reception of the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ.
Preparation for the child and Parent/Adult will be from 2 - 4 pm on
Sundays in January 7, 14, 21, and 28, in the Parish Hall.
The children will receive their First Communion at a Mass in February 2024.
A sign-up genius will be available in January to select the Mass you wish for your child to receive their First Communion.
