Safe Environment for Adults

Volunteers must complete the Diocesan Adult Volunteer Application. 

Applicants 18 or older must also complete the Authorization for Release of Information to process a Criminal Background Check. 

Both forms must be submitted to Theresa Gaitan, the Safe Environment Coordinator, via email or in person.

All volunteers must review and sign the Adult Code of Conduct and Behavior Standards.

2. Click "Start Registration."
3. Create a User ID and Password you’ll remember.
4. Fill out your profile information.
5. Select St. Andrew Parish as your primary location.
6. Choose your primary role.
7. Confirm you've received the Code of Conduct and Behavior Standards.
8. Provide your references.
9. If you’re attending for the first time, ensure the session is labeled "Protecting God's Children for Adults."
10. Select the session you wish to attend.

All adult volunteers must register and attend a Safe Environment Awareness Session before volunteering. All VIRTUS Safe Environment Awareness Sessions are in person.
