General Information- RCIA

Thank you for your interest in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).  The journey informally begins after you contact us and we sit down for a short visit to determine your needs and how we can help you become a fully initiated Catholic.

The RCIA has historically been the process by which those without any knowledge of the Christian faith learn and grow in their faith and understanding of the Catholic Church.  Participants in the RCIA will be quickly assigned a mentor after our conversation who will be their companion along the initial stages of the journey.  A sponsor can be selected by the participant to be involved in the initiation ritual and to accompany the participant as they continue to walk in faith.

Please remember that this is a process and there is no commitment to be made until you are ready. There are several steps in the process and the only commitment initially made is to commit to participating in the process.
