• Start with the 8:30 am Mass on the Feast of Corpus Christi on June 11
• Beginning with three (3) cup ministers
• Cups pre-filled, halfway

• Servers to leave on the altar after the distribution of Communion
• Priest / Deacon to clean and give to servers

• Quiet place / Privacy Requested / Too many distractions
• Keep hallway door closed
• Re-arrangement re-location of vessels and vestments? *see end note
• Do not let the number of hosts run low!
• Care in the cleaning of Sacred Vessels (rings and other jewelry)
• Wine should be poured at the last moment
• Go in – sign in – leave!

• Proper attire for Sunday Mass
• Fr. Jim thinks gentlemen should be in shirt and tie – a jacket is optional (but preferred)
  • No:   jeans         Tennis shoes       Bare shoulders

• Either manner of reception is acceptable – on the tongue or in the hand
• Look for those who do not consume the host
• Some new folks are being trained – we welcoming!
• When giving a “blessing” - Do not touch / raise your hand / make any gesture – a simple encouragement is appropriate “God be with you”; “May God bless and keep you”; “May you always feel the love of Jesus in your life”; something you create for the moment!

• After communion
• Have a burse
• You receive a blessing then LEAVE

• They supply the host
• Come up with the other ministers

• Bow in reverence before entering the Sanctuary
• Stay a few inches from the mic, but project your voice
• Tell me a story
• “The response to our psalm is”
• Remember to place the Lectionary under the ambo
• Alleluia
  • Cantors sing        Readers read

At this time Sacristans will be encouraged to complete preparations for all the liturgical items 10 - 15 minutes before Mass begins.  Sacristans are empowered to maintain decorum, and a sacred space in the Sacristy before Mass.
