Katherine Haley graduated from Fort Worth Country Day in 2015 before attending Duke University. She immediately became an active member of the Duke Catholic Center and felt a deep call to share her faith with others. After spending a summer working as a counselor at Kanakuk Kamps, she fell in love with Youth Ministry. Beginning her sophomore year, she answered this call by serving as a YoungLife leader for a local middle school and interning at Hope Reins, a Christian ministry that pairs kids in crisis with rescued horses to find true hope and real healing. During her senior year, she assumed the role of Team Leader for her YoungLife team, planning weekly Bible study lessons, leading her college ministry team, and facilitating “Club” nights. She also became the Student Director of Peer Outreach for the Duke Catholic Center, where her primary roles included planning the freshman retreat, planning events, and fostering fellowship for the on-campus Catholic community. Upon graduating, Katherine returned to Kanakuk Kamps for the summer to serve on the leadership team as the Female Programming Director for their flagship camp, K-1. After spending four years in North Carolina, Katherine moved back to Fort Worth to be the Saint Andrew Youth Ministry Fellow, assisting with the Middle School Youth Group program.
