Susan LaPointe

Mrs. Susan LaPointe has worked with our Youth Music Ministry for the past 16 years.  Susan was a semi-professional handbell ringer with the Houston Bronze Ensemble in Houston TX performing in Las Vegas, Albuquerque and several cities in Louisiana and Texas. She currently teaches music at Alice Carlson Applied Learning Center Elementary School in Fort Worth.  She has music degrees as well as a Master’s degree in Theology.  Susan is known regionally and nationally for her work as a clinician for Handbell workshops and her experience with youth in music. She developed Children’s Music Programs at First Presbyterian and Emmanual Presbyterian Churches in Fort Worth.  While a full time employee of the FWISD she continues to build the Youth Music Ministry here as part time director of  the Chorister Choir, the Young Ringers, the Junior High and High School Handbell Choirs.
